President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Sunday referring to the police duties as "unending," said under their protection people felt more safety.

Addressing the 29th graduation ceremony of police cadets here on Sunday, He noted that love for people would insure the police's success in fulfilling duties. “People should feel in peace and consider police as their protector.”

Dr.Ahmadinejad said that the Islamic Republic of Iran Police shoulder a heavy, diverse, extensive, uninterrupted and constant duty.

President Ahmadinejad added that police in the Islamic Republic bear heavy responsibility which spread from border areas to cyber space and city streets.

President said the expanded network of social relations has added to the burden carried by the Police.

He said police are responsible for safeguarding the life and reputation of individuals.

To the end of his speech, the president wished Iranian police force success and prosperity.
