President in a meeting with Iranian expatriates in New York:
Iranian Nation Attaches No Importance to Zionists
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad downplayed the military threats posed by the Zionist regime against Tehran, and said the Iranian nation attaches no importance to the "uncultured" Zionists.
"A number of uncultured Zionists that threaten the Iranian nation today are never counted and are never paid any attention in the equations of the Iranian nation," Dr.Ahmadinejad said, addressing Iranian expatriates in New York on Sunday night.
Stressing that despite many ups and downs, Iran has always paved the path of progress and flourishing, he, meantime, said that the Iranian nation has never hesitated to defend itself against enemy threats and aggressions.
President said that no bullying power has ever been successful in overcoming the Iranian nation.
President further stressed that based on the history, any hostile force that invaded Iran not only failed to achieve anything but rather was destroyed and overwhelmed by the rich culture of the nation.
Stressing that enemies of Iran are well aware of the fact that Iranians are quite capable of managing world affairs, he said that is exactly for this reason that they are scared of losing their authority to loot nations.
He said given the present world conditions, there will be no signs of bullying powers in a near future.
