President speaking to French reporters on TV:
Media hype over the 9/11 incident and silent on killing of more than one million people in Iraq and Afghanistan
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says why the media, which widely provoked public sentiments over the 9/11 incident, have kept silent today on killing of more than one million people under the same pretext.

Touching on the 16th NAM Summit, President Ahmadinejad said a revolution is needed to change the current system dominating the world.
“By revolution I don’t mean bloodshed and clashes; rather fundamental change in approach to human communities, policy and international system.”
He said presently, relations among human beings and human communities are competitive aiming to win power. “Relations among human beings and communities in the economic, cultural and political arenas should be re-founded on the basis of promoting friendship.”
He said NAM provides a proper opportunity and capacity for the issue. “NAM formation is part of efforts to materialize this goal.”
He added that all people, thinkers and policy makers should come to the conclusion that current conditions prevailing in the world are against them and they need a better world.
Dr.Ahmadinejad said such measures as cutting dependency on dollar and ending the yoke of the hegemonic system are basic steps taken in this regard, with Iran being on the forefront. “We should accept however that a long way is ahead of us."
Dr.Ahmadinejad responding to a question on his appraisal of the economic crisis in the west, which has affected all countries, said: “This is a very important issue that needs to be answered in two parts.
President said that at first stage European politicians and banks should introduce the main causes of the economic crisis, which are the big financial companies.
President Ahmadinead added that current system dominating the banks in the west should undergo fundamentally change.
“The literature of sanctions is basically disrespectful and insulting, because all [countries] in the world need each other; and refraining from selling goods and services to another country in order to mount political pressure on that state so that it forgoes its rights is by no means logical and rational,” said Dr.Ahmadinejad .
The United States, Zionist regime and some of their allies have accused Iran of pursuing non-civilian objectives in its nuclear energy program.
Iran has vehemently refuted the allegation regarding its nuclear energy program, arguing that as a committed signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency, it is entitled to use nuclear technology for peaceful objectives.
