During the meeting held here in Tehran on Friday evening, Dr. Ahmadinejad stated the movement's level should be promoted proportionate to the member states' needs, and added, "Achieving this goal needs partnership among all members specially the founders of the movement."

He further expressed the confidence that Ghana, as a founder of the movement, would play an active role in cooperation among the NAM members.

Mumuni, for his part, felicitated Iran's presidency over the NAM, and said, "Definitely, Iran's presidency over the movement will provide a great assistance in promoting and improving its level."
