President Calls for Solidarity among World Nations
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad underscored that Solidarity among the world nations will eradicate terrorism.
Speaking in a meeting with Burundi foreign minister on the sidelines of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit here in Tehran on Friday evening, Dr. Ahmadinejad called for strong relations among the world nation to achieve peace, welfare and tranquility.
As regards Iran-Burundi relations, Dr.Ahmadinejad described the two states' ties as "positive", and added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran, within its possibilities, will assist the Burundi nation in their path towards progress and development."
During the meeting, the Burundi minister expressed the confidences that Iran's presidency over the NAM would increase the bloc's dynamism and movement.
