President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a meeting with Syrian Prime Minister Nader Wael al-Halqi here on Friday evening, said that presence of Syrian representatives in the NAM meeting was very effective in following up NAM goals and its success.

He stated that during compiling the final document of the 16th NAM summit the members reached a number of constructive and useful agreements.

Dr.Ahmadinejad underlined necessity of observing people's rights and stressed that violence must be stopped promptly and nobody has right to persuade violence, because it is not a suitable solution for solving problems.

He added that problems should be solved through dialogue and understanding.

Premier Halqi felicitated President Ahmadinejad on chairmanship of the NAM and appreciated good holding and organizing the meeting.

He added that Syria was following results of the meeting with hope and believes that its results will be effective in Syrian future development.

The Syrian prime minister stressed that reform process will continue in the country and government will control the unrest soon.
