
Dr.Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Indonesian Vice president:
NAM members should help broaden cooperation
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Friday that the Non-Aligned Movement members should broaden cooperation and coordination to attain the lofty goals of the Movement.
President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Indonesian Vice President Boediono on the sidelines of the 16th NAM Summit of Leaders.
He termed relations between Tehran and Jakarta satisfactory and said the two sides have good records of activities and cooperation in many fields.
The Islamic Republic of Iran and Indonesia have friendly and brotherly relations, he said.
He expressed the hope that contribution and efforts of Iranian and Indonesian officials would lead to expansion of relations and implementation of the agreements already signed.
The Indonesian vice-president, for his part congratulated the Iranian president for taking the chairmanship of NAM as well as successful hosting of the 16th NAM Summit.
There is no doubt that Iran's chairmanship over NAM will leave significant impacts on the body in attaining its lofty goals.
