In a meeting with Bangladeshi Prime Minister:
President Urges Rapid Increase in Ties with Bangladesh
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called for a rapid boost in bilateral relations between Tehran and Dhaka, and blamed the enemies' conspiracies for low level ties between the two countries.
"The distance created today between Iran and Bangladesh is the result of the malignancies of the aliens," Dr.Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with Bangladeshi Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the sidelines of the first day of the 16th heads-of-state summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Tehran on Thursday.
"The officials of the two countries should further expand the bilateral relations in different fields, relying on the two nations' abundant cultural and historical commonalities, and especially considering that there is no limitation and obstacle to the development of the two countries' relations," he added.
