Dr.Ahmadinejad felicitates Ecuador on National Day
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad cabled a message on Thursday to congratulate his Ecuadorian counterpart Rafael Correa on the country's National Day and call for expansion of friendly cooperation between the two sides.
The message read that the endeavors of Ecuador's revolutionary nation to attaining independence have made Ecuador an exemplary model for other nations.
He expressed the hope that for further promotion of bilateral relations and cooperation in line with both nations' interests.
Support of friendly countries in dealing with challenges created by the global arrogance is very valuable, said the Iranian president.
