In the meeting the President’s Special Envoy and Head of the Organizing Committee of the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, Ali Sa’eidlou briefed the president on that committee’s conducted activities so far aimed at appropriate and successful hosting of the international event.

Also, the five deputies of the committee offered reports on their conducted activities and programs regarding optimum level sponsoring of the event, scheduled to be held in Tehran from August 26th to 31st.

President Ahmadinejad in the meeting emphasized the need for maximum level harmony and cooperation among the entire concerned organs and institutions for sponsoring a successful summit, reiterating, “Efforts must be made so that the heads of states and other representatives participating at the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement would leave Tehran with nice memories of Iranian management and hospitality.”

President Ahmadinejad also spoke about the fast, precise and attractive media coverage of the XVI Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement, reiterating, “Efforts must be made to inform the world nations of full events in this summit and that is a sensitive duty in need of professional work.”

Before the meeting President Ahmadinejad visited the Summit Hall and its side halls, some of which are still in process of construction work and was briefed on the process of construction activities.
