President s message to the NAM s first international scientific conference:
NAM should help nations play key roles in world management
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in his message here on Tuesday that the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) Improving the scientific principles of the NAM would help the independent countries play key roles in world management.
He made the remark in a message to the NAM’s first international scientific conference which was read out by his advisor for the media affairs Ali Akbar Javanfekr.
President said that the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) has left behind a shining performance in spreading peace and justice throughout the globe.
History shows that the Islamic Republic of Iran has had an active role in the field of science.
On the two-day NAM scientific conference, the president said the event would strengthen the scientific foothold of the movement in the world.
The NAM’s first international scientific conference kicked off this morning in Tehran, attended by a number of elites and scholars from the member states.
A number of top Iranian officials are also participating in the conference.
