1,500 women active in political, cultural and social areas from 81 world countries including Iran are participating in a two-day international gathering on women and Islamic awakening.

The forum is to focus on six pivotal issues of Islamic thinking, Islamic awakening and revolutionary act, women and Islamic awakening, challenges, threats and guidelines.

It will also hold panels on women and Islamic awakening: achievements and demands, international relations and interactions, the issue of family and capacity building among revolutionary forces.
