Nurturing Elites Should Be Part of Social Life
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said the mechanism and culture of nurturing elites should re-enter people’s social and economic life.

Addressing a ceremony on Monday to honor those winning medals in students scientific Olympiads, President called for returning to Iranian nation’s pure culture in which people attach importance to science, knowledge and nurturing elites.
The president said that the Education Ministry, Science Ministry, Elites Foundation and other related bodies should pursue institutionalizing this approach and this attitude.
He stressed that each and every one of Iranian scientists and elites is an asset for the country and should endeavor to elevate Islam and Iran.
Dr.Ahmadinejad said the government will spare no efforts to support the elites, describing investment and attention to nurturing elites as a responsibility and honor for the government.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the president said that today Iran’s enemies and ill-wishers have once again mobilized all their force to hinder the Iranian nation’s progress, adding that the way for confronting these enmities is to work tirelessly and knowledgeably and maintain solidarity.
He underlined that whenever the opportunity arises, the Iranian nation has conquered all the peaks of development, and that today the opportunity has come again for breaking all the barriers and overcoming all obstacles to scientific progress.
“I believe that the dear youth in today’s Iran recognize their mission and will elevate Iran with their endeavors,” Dr.Ahmadinejad added. He underlined that to elevate Iran in the world, scientific endeavors are required.
At the end of the ceremony, elite students who won medals in students scientific Olympiads were honored.
