
President returns to Tehran from 3-nation Latin American tour
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad returned to Tehran on Sunday from a five-day tour of three Latin American countries of Bolivia, Brazil and Venezuela.
He was welcomed by Supreme Leader’s Advisor for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati, First Vice President Mohammad Reza Rahimi, and Vice President for Administrative Affairs Mohammad Reza Mirtajeddini and his Chief of Staff Rahim Mashaei at Mehrabad airport.
Heading a high ranking delegation including his top Advisor Mojtaba Samareh Hashemi, Vice President for International Affairs Ali Saeeidlou, and Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi travelled to Bolivia on the first leg of his tour on Monday.
He then visited Brasilia to attend the Rio+20 Conference of the UN and then went to Venezuela on Friday.
