
President leaves Caracas for Tehran
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad left Caracas, Venezuela, for Tehran while ago on Saturday, wrapping up his six-day three-nation tour of Latin America.
Last Monday, President Ahmadinejad, heading a delegation, travelled to Bolivia on the first leg of his tour of Latin America.
He then toured Brasilia to attend the Rio+20 session of the UN and then went to Venezuela on Friday.
His Venezuela visit featured meeting with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, talking about further expansion of ties on bilateral, regional and international levels.
