President Ahmadinejad, on the first leg of his trip to Latin America, arrived at La Paz International Airport, where he was greeted by his Bolivian counterpart, President Evo Morales.

Before his arrival in Bolivia, President Ahmadinejad had stressed that during his trip, he would follow up on implementation of joint projects, previously agreed by the two countries.

After his visit to Bolivia, President Ahmadinejad will leave La Paz for Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, where he will take part in the Rio+20 summit on the Environment and Sustainable Development.
