President in an interview with the Chinese Phoenix Television channel:
International developments and changes is to establish the just order
The President Ahmadinejad expressed that the existing world order problems should be obvious to all nations so that, they change current situation, said that International developments and changes is to establish the just order and is full of hope.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in an interview with the Chinese Phoenix Television channel on Friday.
Responding to a question about his evaluation on world and regional situation stated that it is possible that the problems in the ways of developments will arise in a short period of time but what we must consider is that people do not live in the short term.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says Western opposition to Iran's nuclear energy program stems from their general animosity toward the progress of independent nations.
“The Western powers oppose any measure that indicates the progress of the Iranian nation and it makes no difference whether this is launching a communications satellite into space or progress in the field of nano- or biotechnology,” said president Ahmadinejad.
“The main issue is that they (Westerners) want to hold Iran and all the independent nations back so that they may need and remain dependent on arrogant powers.”
The president added that the “political approach” of Western powers to the Islamic Republic is the main obstacle to the resolution of the standoff over Iran's nuclear energy program.
Dr.Ahmadinejad stated, however, that Iran would continue to offer “constructive suggestions” and engage in negotiations in an effort to prove its “nuclear rights.”
The Chinese Phoenix reporter asked about the Syria issue, president replied, “We are depressed due to the severity of this event and look; it has been two years now that the regional nations have been under pressure. It is the right of the entire nations to be free; to have free elections and to implement their wills, and there is no exception. The entire Syrians are dear for us. We have no divisions. The entire nations are dear for us. Even getting killed of a single individual is a catastrophe and we are seriously depressed. Anyone who has committed this crime is condemned. With any objective and intention, and I hope these fact finding committees at the spot would get access to realities, and making mistakes and wrong data would end, because the two sides keep accusing each other.”
President said, “Basically the problem is with type of global governing.” Those who care for the human society must solve these problems. This type of management sows the seeds of difference among nations.”
The West, led by the United States, has imposed sanctions against Iran, accusing Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy program.
Iran has repeatedly dismissed the Western allegations, arguing that as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), it has every right to pursue nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
The IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, but has never found any evidence indicating that Tehran's nuclear energy program has been diverted towards nuclear weapons production.
