Dr.Ahmadinejad also described Tehran-Beijing ties as historic, friendly and constructive.

'Iran-China ties always based on friendship and had an increasing trend,' he said.

Unfortunately, there are some countries which impose their own intentions on others to achieve their own interests, he complained.

Tehran-Beijing cooperation is in line with world peace and security and providing justice for all the nations, he said, noting that Iran considers no limit for expanding ties with China.

Referring to the agreements made between the two countries to raise the level of exchanges to $200 billion, president Ahmadinejad said that Iran is fully prepared to help meet the target.

President Jintao, for his part, referred to the ancient bilateral ties and said that his country will be happy to see the implementation of the agreements signed earlier.

'China welcomes promoting ties with Iran in all the fields,' he said.

Underlining Iran's right to peaceful nuclear technology, he also said that China considers talks as the only solution to solve the outstanding problems regarding Iran's nuclear issue.

China opposes any sanctions, pressures and threats against Iran, Jintao said.
