The meeting of Dr.Ahmadinejad and Almazbek Atambayev took place on the sidelines of the 12th Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Beijing.

Both heads of state exchanged views on the latest developments in the region and underlined the need for restoration of peace and friendship to the region and the world.

Both sides in the meeting underlined that Iranian and Kyrgy nations enjoy deep historical, cultural and religious ties which have always been friendly, rich and growing.
