
Iran, Tajikistan presidents review international issues and economic bilateral ties

President Ahmadinejad and president of Tajikistan discussed economic bilateral ties and issues of mutual interest.
It was President Ahmadinejad’s first meeting with the heads of state who have gathered in the Chinese capital for the meeting.
Iranian and Tajik presidents stressed building corridors, transferring water and energy among Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan as well as constructing joint lines for power and energy transfer among the three countries as well as Kyrgyzstan and China in a bid to expand corridors for boosting trade cooperation from China to Iran and Europe.
