President Ahmadinejad made the remarks in a meeting with Tehran-based African ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions who had gathered together to mark Africa Day.
President Ahmadinejad called for development, prosperity, peace and security of African nations and governments and congratulated them on the Africa Day.
President Ahmadinejad said that we should work toward the creation of a fair world order that stems from the will power of nations and one all nations and governments can play a role in establishing under fair conditions.
President Ahmadinejad said: “African Day is manifestation of a rich culture, freedom, justice, development and dignity.
African history is full of such events, movements and people's endeavors to get a better situation in the world, he said.
Global arrogance imposed unwanted wars and conflicts to plunder the African nations of their wealth which is source of regret for all.
Such problem also exits in other parts of the world such as Carribean and Latin America which are rich in God given minerals, he said.
Current world order has deprived most of world populations of their assets and put them at the disposal of a small minority and for the same reason a great majority of African people live in absolute poverty, he said.
Only a group of capitalists are now governing the world and have full control over decision making centers while all people should be equal in this respect, he said.
He expressed the hope that through cooperation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and all African countries they will be able to make use of their existing potentials for the benefit of world nations.
Ties between Iran and other African states are based on friendship, kindness, respect, dignity and justice, he said.
President Ahamdinejad said: “World is in dire need of new order in which the historical aspirations of all nations such as justice, brotherhood, dignity, development and welfare are addressed.”
He said that a demand for the establishment of a just world order is becoming a popular demand in the world, adding that this goal can only be achieved through collective effort.
He called for formation of a new financial system to protect the interests of nations instead of preserving the interests of capitalists, he said.
He called for establishment of a new political system to protect security, tranquility and respect of all nations.
World nations are capable enough to materialize this goal if they wish to, he said.
He praised Iran's relations with African countries for being based on friendship, affection, respect, human dignity and justice and called for the further expansion of Iran-Africa ties.
He said the Islamic Republic would stand by African countries and support any measures aimed at developing bilateral ties.
Ambassadors from South Africa, Kenya, Sudan, Tunisia, Algeria, Comoro, Uganda, Mali, Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, and Ivory Coast along with heads of diplomatic missions of Guiana, Libya, Somalia, Ghana, Egypt and Mauritania were present in the meeting.
