President condoles Nicaragua counterpart
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in a message on Sunday extended condolences to his Nicaraguan counterpart Daniel Ortega on demise of Tomás Borge Martínez.
President Ahmadinejad also expressed sympathy with the Nicaraguan nation and government on the sad event.
Martínez, the last surviving founder of the Sandinista rebel group that toppled Nicaragua’s dictatorship in 1979 died while he was 81.
