The President made the remark while addressing a large group of local people in this eastern provincial capital city where he arrived Thursday morning on his 100th provincial visit.

Referring to implementation of the second phase of the national targeted subsidy plan, the President said the project was the start of a major economic development in the country.

During a 6-day visit to the province, the President and his entourage are to visit provincial cities to become closely familiar with problems of the local residents.

Khorassan Razavi province is home to the shrine of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Imam of the Holy Prophet’s Household.
