President in a massive crowd of people in the Qeshm:
Arrogant powers afraid of Iranian nation s resistance
Arrogant powers are afraid of Iranian nation's resistance, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Wednesday.
He made the remarks in an address to a large crowd of people on the Persian Gulf Island of Qeshm in Hormuzgan Province on the second day of his 4th provincial visit of this province, and his 100th provincial tour of the country.
“The Iranian nation has not accepted any kind of foreign interference historically; Iran is inspiring for nations that want to stand the oppressive hegemonic powers; the language of force and threat has no use against the Iranian nation and all enemies in the history have been resentful of their wrongdoing; the Islamic republic of Iran will not retreat from its rights,” Dr.Ahmadinejad underlined.
He also noted that the crimes committed against oppressed Palestinian nation by the racist Zionists are the outcome of deviation from the right path.
“Power will not bring peace as it did not give peace to those who supported the occupying force of Zionist regime,” the president underscored.
Washington and its Western allies accuse Iran of trying to develop nuclear weapons under the cover of a civilian nuclear program, while they have never presented any corroborative evidence to substantiate their allegations. Iran denies the charges and insists that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes only.
Tehran stresses that the country has always pursued a civilian path to provide power to the growing number of Iranian population, whose fossil fuel would eventually run dry.
