President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Afghan President Hamed Karzai and Tajik President Imomali Rahmon attended the event after participating in the Third International Nowruz Celebrations and the Fifth Afghan Economic Conference in Dushanbe on Saturday.

The summit which is taking place at Saman Palace in Dushanbe lasts for one and half an hours.

The tripartite meeting seeks to expand and strengthen economic relations among the three Persian-speaking countries.
