Upon arrival, President was welcomed by Tajik Prime Minister Oqil Oqilov and Iran’s ambassador to Tajikistan.

Head of Iran’s Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim Mashaei, top Presidential Advisor Mojtaba Samareh Hashemi, Executive vice President Hamid Baghaie, Iran’s Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi, and Energy Minister Madjid Namjou are accompanying the President.

President Ahmadinejad is to address the third Nowruz festival.

During the past two years, the first and second international celebrations on Nowruz were held in Tehran.
