President is attending the third Nowruz festival in Tajikistan at the invitation of his Tajik counterpart.

President is planned to take part in the tripartite meeting between the Presidents of Iran, Afghanistan and Tajikistan and also in a meeting with participation of the three countries' plus Pakistan's heads to be held on the sidelines of the festival.

Regional developments are the major issues about which the president is to discuss in a meeting with senior officials of the countries present at the ceremony.

He is also due to open Iran’s cultural complex in the Tajik capital city of Dushanbe.

The number of ministers and deputies accompanied Dr.Ahmadinejad during his visit to Tajikistan.
