He made the remarks in a meeting with Lebanese Defense Minister Fayez Ghosn in Tehran.

President Ahmadinejad said that the arrogant powers have concentrated their efforts on striking a blow to the resistance front against Zionist regime's occupation in a bid to salvage the Zionist regime.

He said 'There is no doubt they will fail to achieve their goals, because the world has undergone dramatic changes and their days are numbered. The world order advocated by them is going to end and a new order will based on justice and humanitarian principles will replace it.'

He said that Zionist regime will destroy all nations in the Middle East if it finds an opportunity, adding that the Zionists dream of destroying the Middle Eastern nations, but, God willing, their ominous dream will not come true.

The President said 'The global arrogance considers Iran and Lebanon as impediment to its hegemonic goals. Iran and Lebanon have been allied to thwart anti-human goals of the global arrogance'.

Ghosn said that the Lebanese nation will never forget Iran's assistance to Lebanon to stand on its own feet, adding that Iran always stands by Lebanon.

The defense minister appreciated Iran's resistance to the global arrogance and said that Iran has been steadfast in thwarting conspiracies of the arrogant powers.
