Referring to readiness of the two countries to foster mutual relations, the President expressed hope that Tehran-Ashgabat cooperation would witness a significant boost in all areas in the near future.

He then congratulated Berdymukhamedov on his re-election as President of Turkmenistan as well as the 20th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations.

Turkmen president, for his part, described the Islamic Republic of Iran as a reliable partner in regional and international affairs.

Expansion of ties with Tehran is considered as Ashgabat's top priority, the Turkmen president noted.
