President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad left here for Islamabad, Pakistan, Thursday to take part in the third tripartite summit with participation of Iran, Pakistan and Afghanistan.

President is due to meet with his Afghan and Pakistani counterparts to review trilateral relations.

The three presidents are also to hold talks on ways to ensure regional peace, security and stability and remove the obstacles to this end.

Moreover, the three countries will confer on the presence of the foreign forces in the region which are the major causes of any kind of instability in the region.

The first two tripartite summits between Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan were held in Tehran.
