
President departs for Tehran
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Friday evening left Islamabad for Tehran at end of his two-day state visit to Pakistan for a trilateral summit.
Pakistan Minister for Textile, other senior officials and Iranian diplomats saw the Iranian president off at the military airport near Islamabad.
The President held bilateral meetings with Pakistani counterpart Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on bilateral and regional matters. He also attended the Afghanistan-Iran and Pakistan trilateral summit.
