President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in an interview with Mexican TV network Televisa, responding to a question about US officials’ threats against Iran on nuclear issue, said time for colonial literature and dictatorship is over.

Unfair sanctions imposed by hegemonic powers against the Islamic Republic of Iran have had no impact on the Iranian nation and will never do, said the president.

Referring to the US-sponsored allegations against Iran's nuclear program, he noted: “Iran's nuclear issue has turned into a political one and it is clear to everyone that the US and its allies seek to find a pretext to halt the progress of the Iranian nation, because they intend to seize absolute control over the Middle East and stabilize the Zionist regime, and they consider Iran an obstacle in the way of their objectives.

The president added that the rhetoric of threats is the continuation of the decades-long hostilities of the US and the hegemonic powers against Iran.

On possibility of the US military attack against Iran, President Ahmadinejad said, 'We believe there are wise people in the US who prevent others to do crazy actions, furthermore, Iranians have learned how to live in hard situations.'

He stressed that history has shown that any foreign power that wanted to invade Iran has failed and regretted his action.

Responding to a question why Iran is building new underground nuclear site in Fordo and way of Iran cooperation with International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), president Ahmadinejad said that under pretext of atomic inspection, some people intend to ignore independence of nations, while Iran has had the most cooperation with the agency.

He added that atomic installations are built in the mountainous areas and underground, because they should have a high degree of safety and that all Iran’s nuclear activities are under agency’s cameras inspection, but the agency has a dual behavior, so they never present a report on the US nuclear activities, while the agency has been created to demolish atomic bombs in the world.

Concerning Holocaust and collapse of the Zionist regime, Dr.Ahmadinejad said that downfall of the regime does not need any atomic bomb and even a war, because this regime is based on its cruelty and massacre so it will collapse automatically.

He stressed that the Zionist regime has no standing in the Middle East because none of the nations in the region have accepted this regime and all are opposed to it.

On Holocaust, he said that if it is a historical reality, so why research about it is prohibited and the researchers are imprisoned?

He added that Islamic Republic of Iran has never recognized illegitimate Zionist regime and the UN has also declared them as occupiers and has issued several resolutions against them.

Concerning US claim about Saudi ambassador assassination plan in the USA and cooperation with a Mexican drug cartel, Dr.Ahmadinejad said that more than three thousand and 600 people have been martyred in Iran in fighting against drug smugglers and Iran has spent hundreds of millions of dollars to prevent drug transfer from Afghanistan to other parts of the world.

Unfortunately, in the US statesmen logic, there is no need to present documents or evidence to accuse someone, so by such logic everybody can be accused. Iran has friendly relations with Mexican and Saudi Arabian nations, said the president.

The US and its allies accuse Iran of pursuing a military nuclear program and have pressured the UN Security Council to impose four rounds of sanctions against the country based on this pretext.

As a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a member of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Tehran insists it is entitled to utilize nuclear energy for peaceful purposes.

Meanwhile, the IAEA has conducted numerous inspections of Iranian nuclear facilities but has never found any evidence indicating that Iran's civilian nuclear program has been geared up for nuclear weapons production.
