President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with his Surinam counterpart Desire Delano Bouterse, held on the sidelines of the oath-taking ceremony of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega Saavedra.



There is no obstacle in the way of expansion of relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and freedom-seeking nations, said the President.



Surinam president for his part, said that his country was determined to promote relations with all developed countries, including Iran.



Referring to the existing economic crises in the West, he called for further international and regional cooperation to tackle those problems.
