The two presidents condemned Imperialism-Zionism sanctions and war threats against peace-seeking independent nations.

The statement stressed Tehran-Caracas close cooperation against all kinds of terrorism around the world.

“Iran and Venezuela support people’s demands for justice and freedom; any kind of foreign intervention in the regional countries will complicate the issues,” it added.

President Ahmadinejad and Chavez expressed in the statement their condolence to the Syrian nation and government over mass killing of military and civilian peoples in recent unrests there and condemned the Zionist regime and Imperialism's interference in the region.

“International organizations and regional countries should do more to stop violation of the Palestinians' rights by Tel-Aviv and to fulfill their responsibility in support of the oppressed nation of Palestine, the two presidents’ statement underlined.

It concluded that president and the Venezuelan president called for expansion of ties between the two countries at the maximum level.
