Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hugo Chavez, referring to the two countries' strategic relations said that increasing the level of political and economic relations between Tehran – Caracas will benefit the two nations and peace and security.



Iranian and Venezuelan presidents in the meeting pointing to the importance of growing developments in the level of region and world, have emphasized on non-interference of greedy powers and imperialist in the internal affairs of other countries, and recommended governments and nations to be awareness against plots of tyrants.



President said the two countries will cooperate to improve justice and equality throughout the world.



President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also said Iran and Venezuela will stand together despite US efforts against the expansion of ties between Tehran and Caracas.



“The Venezuelan and Iranian people are on the way to fighting all the greed and arrogance of imperialism,” said the president.



Chavez, for his part, said, “There's a desire for our governments to keep working together... to slow down the imperialist madness that has now been unleashed more than ever.”
