President arrives in Venezuela
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived here in Venezuela’s capital Sunday evening local time at the head of a high-ranking political and economic delegation for a five-day visit to the Latin American country.
President Ahmadinejad was warmly welcomed by the Venezuelan Vice President at Caracas International Airport.
Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez will officially welcome President Ahmadinejad in a ceremony on Monday morning local time.
Dr.Ahmadinejad is scheduled to meet with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and other senior Venezuelan officials. He will also sign several contracts and inaugurate a number of projects.
