Addressing a conference of Iranian envoys abroad, he referred to the main and influential role of diplomatic apparatus in regional and international developments and said that it should have a single common view regarding the global issues in a bid to help the nation attain its ideals.



Describing global developments as unique in terms of extensiveness and scale of influence since World War II, he also said that Iran views the regional developments as Islamic awakening while the West regards it as ‘Arab spring’. But the main point is that a common view has emerged with regards to the necessity of changes and amendments in the world.



While Iran is seeking to eliminate the system of arrogance from the face of the world to pave the way for administering justice across the world, the West is after extending dominance over the world by taking control of energy and intellectual currents in the Middle East.



However, the West faces two main problems, he said, noting that one is that it failed to help the Zionist regime establish itself in the region and the second is that it has supported unpopular and dictatorial regimes of the region which Iran has always rejected.



“Iran has always respected basic rights of all nations including justice, freedom and will always support it,” he said.



Referring to regional developments, he further noted that the US intends to promote the American-style Islam while Iran has been the sole democratic nation of the region over the past three decades. There are governments in the region that have never held even a single election during their political life, while today they meet to issue resolutions against other countries. Dr.Ahmadinejad urged them to organize free and democratic elections.



He also urged the diplomatic apparatus to do away with the cliché and permanent formats and said that there’s a traditional attitude towards cooperation with the West while other countries have numerous capacities for the purpose.



The current order in the world has reached a deadlock and will not last because it has distanced itself from the divine nature of humans, he said, adding that the world needs a new order and model and this is nothing but Mahdism (belief in reappearance of Imam Mahdi (AS) who is currently in occultation).
