Talking with his Tatar counterpart Rustam Minnikhanov here on Sunday, President Ahmadinejad said there are vast grounds for cooperation between the two countries.



President also called for closer cooperation between Tehran and Kazan in all areas said that the Islamic Republic of Iran sees no limit on broadening of ties with Tatarstan.



Minnikhanov, for his part, termed Iran’s industrial progress as “amazing”, saying his country favors promotion of cooperation with Iran.



He said that Tatarstan seeks expansion of cooperation with Iran in all spheres, scientific, cultural, oil, and gas and industries domains in particular.
