Dr.Ahmadinejad called his Afghan counterpart Saturday evening and expressed his grief over the tragic event on the Day of Ashura (November 29) in Afghanistan.

He expressed sympathy with the government and people of Afghanistan and said those people who attack defenseless mourners are villainous persons and enemies of humanity, brotherhood and religion.
