President made the remark in a meeting with Mustafa Othman Ismail, special envoy of Sudanese president, on Saturday.



President Ahmadinejad stressed that world nations could defeat arrogant powers through convergence and solidarity.



President went on to say, adding that relations of Tehran – Khartoum is growing and important and said: “The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to make use of existing potentials of both countries in line with the two sides' interests.



Dr.Ahmadinejad emphasized the importance of the Sudanese nation's resistance against bullying powers said: “No doubt every fight coincides with some difficulties, but surely understanding and awareness of government and people of Sudan will prevent the enemies’ plans in this country.



Meanwhile, the Sudanese envoy conveyed a message from President Omar al-Bashir of Sudan to Dr.Ahmadinejad.



He also said that Khartoum attached great importance to the waves of awakening in most of the world countries, Muslim states in particular.



The envoy added that Sudan was optimistic towards the increasing trend of Islamic awakening among Muslim nations.
