During the meeting, President Ahmadinejad was briefed on the activities and performance of the IRNA inside and outside the country.



President Ahmadinejad described the IRNA staff as committed, enthusiastic, intellectual and hard-working people who had a clear view of the events and said IRNA had to offer a model of healthy, sincere and ideal journalism paradigm to other media and press.



Pointing out that the world was the arena of war between two major approaches and ideals; he further said the IRNA reporters were at the frontline of confrontation with enemies.



Heads of IRNA offices both in Iran and outside the country participated in the gathering which aimed at exploring the ways to further enhance performance of IRNA offices in different parts of the country as well as the world.
