Addressing a group of families of martyrs and war veterans in this northern Iranian city, Dr.Ahmadinejad Underlined, "It is obvious that the United Nations is in cahoots with Zionists (Israelis).

“They falsely think that if they take nuclear scientists or other scientists from us, the forward-looking path of Iranian nation will be stopped.

This time too they have made a mistake. Under God’s grace, intelligence forces will whole-heartedly guard the scientists.”

He noted that history has proven that the Iranian nation knows how to teach enemies a lesson and make them feel remorseful.

He warned that Iran will take revenge of the blood of its martyred scientists on global arrogance should assassination of its scientists be repeated.

He reiterated that if assassination of Iranian academics is repeated, Iran will put forward cases relating to the pre-revolution era as well as files of 160,000 war martyrs and 40,000 others who were martyred in different parts of the country, thus putting each UN Security Council permanent members on trial.

Addressing arrogant powers, president emphasized, "[Your] path of committing terror against Iranian scientists will merely make your case darker because the Iranian nation has so far given 200,000 martyrs, but has never stepped back (from its legitimate position)."

President Ahmadinejad pointed to the West's call for renewed talks with Iran, saying, "Is this how you want to start off the negotiations? Your conduct shows that your intent (in talks) is enmity."
