The agreements were signed at a special ceremony attended by Iranian President, Dr Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and Lebanese President, Michel Soleiman, at the presidential palace in Beirut.



The 17 cooperation agreements include cooperation in the oil and gas sector, power generation, commerce and business, construction industry, telecommunications and information technology, higher education, housing, joint investments, and cooperation in science and technology.



The agreements were signed by the foreign ministers, housing ministers, and ministers of Culture and Energy ministers of both countries.
