The president of Iran and the UN Secretary General discussed and exchanged opinions on the most important international subject matters such as insecurity, risk of terrorism and narcotic drugs and the latest situation of the Middle East in a mutual visit.



Dr.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad visited Ban Ki Moon, the UN Secretary General today in the afternoon local time in the organization .The president touched upon the role of the UN in managing the world and stressed on modifying the structures of the UN in order to defend the rights of all the nations and the collective participation on directing the world.



The president expressed that the world today needs the participation of all the nations in managing the world .He also remarked that restoring peace and sustainable security are not possible without the active and effective participation of the nations, and UN enjoys such a capacity, to lay a foundation for the active presence of the nations.



Dr.Ahmadinejad criticized the possession of the right of veto of some states and pointed out that the meaning of veto is circumscribing the other nations in managing the world.



The president pointed out about the situations of Afghanistan and mentioned that the Islamic Republic of Iran fully supports the available political trend in Afghanistan and the only difficult remedy in this country as he said is handing the affairs over to the people of Afghanistan regarding which the UN must assist.



Dr.Ahmadinejad underlined that no doubt the case of Afghanistan does not have any military solution ,then the president specified that if a small tranche of the charges devoted to the military , had been spent for urbanization of this country ,then there would have been no issues in this country.



He mentioned the recent situation of Palestine and Qods and continued that the sovereignty of the Palestinians must be recognized that they can choose their destiny in a free referendum .



Dr. Ahmadinejad cited that today the risk of ever-increasing racism of the zionists should be taken seriously, and continued saying that there are more than three years that the people of Gaza have been surrounded in their homes and country and divested of food and drugs . If we can help these people , it can assist preventing a holocaust in this land. The president expressed his worry on the increase of narcotic drugs throughout the world and the association of some extremist groups and states in distributing such materials ,and advised that today it is exigent to take new measures for encountering the narcotic drugs ,and such stuff must be controlled at the object and origin of production .



Dr.Ahmadinejad also pointed out about the nuclear subject matter of our country and the trend of the dissemination of the Tehran declaration and continued saying that Tehran declaration is very transparent and logical ,and in fact the spirit of this declaration is to substitute agreement for disagreement and

confrontation but unfortunately the 5+1 group showed a hideous step towards the bona fide of the Islamic Republic of Iran by issuing a resolution .Today we grow highly worried when the prestige of the UN is defamed , and we are also prepared to resume talks based on the Tehran declaration.



The president underscored that the nation of Iran has no worry concerning the sanctions ,and then he asserted that we can definitively claim that the sanctions do not impact the economy of Iran ,and the nation of Iran can easily satisfy his needs himself.



Dr.Ahmadinejad pointed about the matter of terrorism and insecurity in the world and then added that we must take new measures against terrorism .Today hundreds of people are killed daily in Iraq ,Afghanistan and Pakistan and other parts of the world , now it is time to take definitive and steadfast decisions in this regard.



The president stipulated that experiences have shown that campaign into Iraq and Afghanistan did not only impact controlling the terrorism but it has even developed its dimensions .The UN must enter into action for encountering terrorism earnestly , and I tell you that in this regard there will be a conference in Tehran in which the UN can participate.



Dr.Ahmadinejad also talked regarding the flood in Pakistan and mentioned that the UN has taken some favorable steps in this regard , but the amount of relief is not enough, and it appears that if there is a headquarter formed in the UN for offering reliefs to the flood-stricken people , then it can follow the situation of the wounded people in this country.



Ban Ki Moon ,the UN Secretary General expressed happiness regarding the presence of Dr.Ahmadinejad in the UN General Assembly conference and pointed to the constructive role of Iran in restoring and stabilizing peace and security in the region and especially in Afghanistan ,and continued saying that Iran in spite of the current challenges has supported the people of Afghanistan and the creation of security in this country which is admirable and the measures of Iran show that Iran can have an effective role in the Middle East peace and world security .



Ban Ki Moon convicted the presence of terrorism at any point of the world . Terrorism has turned into the world's tremendous challenge which we have to adopt a united strategy to confront this .The Islamic Republic of Iran can play a fruitful role in this regard. He also appreciated the words of the president concerning the duties and role of the organization in managing the world and the necessity of active presence in all the international arenas
