Iran should be center of regional, int’l medicine
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here on Tuesday that Iran should serve as the center of regional and international medicine.
Addressing the induction ceremony of the new chief of the Medical Sciences Academy, he described the medical school of Iranian scientists as comprehensive and said that scientists such as Avicenna should be introduced to the world.
He also said that people such as Dr Alireza Marandi (the new chief of the academy) can undertake the management of such centers because they are figures known not only in Iran but also in the world’s medical community.
Iran’s specialists are among the tops in the world, he said.
