The new Nepalese ambassador to Tehran conferred on Monday with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on expansion of cooperation between the two countries.

At the meeting, the Iranian president underlined that Iran’s policy is based on promotion of just relations with other nations, adding that Iran sees no limits on further broadening ties and cooperation with Nepal.



The new ambassador submitted his credentials to President Ahmadinejad.



The Islamic Republic of Iran is ready to put its invaluable experiences and achievements in various fields at the disposal of Nepal, said the Iranian president.



Given cultural and historical bonds between the two countries, there are high potentials in both sides to further bolster mutual cooperation, he said.



The Nepalese accredited ambassador to Tehran, for his part, lauded Iran’s significant achievements and progress in various fields and said his country desired to take advantage of such capabilities particularly in the fields of agriculture, industry and dam construction.
