He said they are angry that Muslims now have developed a strong sense of self-confidence in themselves.
Making the remark in a meeting with members of Islamic groups in Denmark, the president said America triggered a “Shia-Sunni” game in Iraq after the occupation of the country while all Muslims lived in peace there prior to the US attacks.
Elaborating on reasons why the hegemonic powers like the US tried to stop Iran from gaining access to peaceful nuclear technology, he said all their efforts served the aim of prolonging their presence in the region because they were well aware of the fact that the progress of Islamic nations meant their losing control of the region.
He said hegemonic powers knew very well that those who lost the Middle East, would actually loose the whole world.
He also believed the reason for the animosity of certain western countries towards Iran was that they regarded the country as the center of flowering thoughts of the Islamic revolution.
On the US invasion to Afghanistan, he said the US was caught in a situation much harsher than that of Vietnam war and its President Barack Obama was moving towards a quagmire.
He further stressed that the Iranian nation would never yield to the US oppressive ways and said Iranians believed certain western powers should stand in trial and answer for the crimes they have been committing against Iran in the past one hundred years.
On the Palestinian situation, he said the issue of Palestine could never be solved through interactions among certain people and noted that the Palestinian nation would never allow their enemies take an easy breath.
