
President Ahmadinejad arrives in Denmark
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad arrived in Copenhagen, Denmark, Thursday to attend the 2009 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP15).
Upon arrival, President Ahmadinejad was welcomed by Iran’s Ambassador to Denmark Morteza Damanpak-Jami and a number of Iranians residing in Denmark.
Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, Chief of Staff of the Presidential Office Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei and Senior Advisor to President Mojtaba Samareh-Hashemi are accompanying President Ahmadinejad in his visit to Copenhagen.
During the two-day stay in Denmark, the Iranian president is to address the climate conference and confer with a number of senior officials participating in the conference about international developments.
Ahmadinejad is also to meet a group of the Iranians residing in Denmark.
The president is planned to hold a press conference in participation of the foreign media.
