Ahmadinejad condoles with President Assad on brother's demise
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a message to President Bashar Assad, expressed condolences on his brother's demise.
In his message, President Ahmadinejad said that he had been deeply sad on hearing the news of Majd Hafez Assad's death. He also wished patience for President Assad and the bereaved family.
Majd Al-Assad, born in 1966, President Assad's younger brother, passed away on Saturday in a hospital in Damascus. He had been ill for a long time.
