President Ahmadinejad was seen off at Ahvaz airport by provincial officials.



During the visit, President Ahmadinejad inaugurated several development projects, held separate meetings with local clerics and scholars as well as families of war time martyrs and war veterans.



The president and his cabinet members also approved 275 plans to speed up implementation of the provincial projects made during his first round of provincial tour to the province.



President Ahmadinejad and his cabinet members arrived in Khuzestan on Tuesday.



It was his second round of the provincial tour since 2005.



President Ahmadinejad made the initiative to visit different provinces since he took office in 2005 in order to bring closer the government to ordinary people.
